Vicki M. Skaggs
Of Counsel
Vicki Skaggs' practice focuses on litigation and counseling in bankruptcy and creditors' rights, as well as legal issues concerning loans, secured transactions, restructuring, and foreclosures for bank and financial institution clients. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin in 1979 with a B.S. in Education and earned her J.D. Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Law in 1981, where she interned with Bankruptcy Judge Edward H. Patton, Jr. Vicki has served as President of the Rio Grande Valley Bankruptcy Bar Association and has been a speaker and author on business bankruptcy law and creditors' rights.
Vicki is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating, and has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer since 2013.
