Mauricio Mercado joined Atlas, Hall & Rodriguez in 2023. He represents clients in a wide variety of business and commercial matters under federal and state law, handling all phases of case management and litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mauricio practiced at a personal injury law firm and served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rolando Olvera and the Honorable Ignacio Torteya, III, both in the Southern District of Texas. Mauricio is licensed to practice in Texas and Illinois.

Mauricio received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he earned the Labor and Employment Certificate, and his undergraduate degree from the University of the Incarnate Word with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting.
