Joshua Cummings
Partner, Board Certified
Joshua Cummings is a partner at Atlas, Hall & Rodriguez and is board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in two practice areas. In 2022, he became the first practicing Hidalgo County attorney in 41 years to receive certification in Estate Planning and Probate Law — making him one of only three RGV attorneys with that distinction. In 2018, he was among the first group of Texas attorneys certified in Property Owners Association Law and remains the only attorney in the RGV with that certification. He also holds a Certified Attorney Ad Litem designation under the Texas Estates Code.
Josh brings extensive experience in wills, estate planning, trust formation, guardianships, probate, property owners' associations, and real estate and commercial lending transactions. He earned his law and economics degrees from Baylor University, has served as President of the Hidalgo County Bar Association and Foundation, and currently serves as President of the Valley Symphony Orchestra.
